1. Information We Collect

When you use Snappy ("the App"), we collect:

• Account information: Email address and display name you provide during registration.
• Game data: Match history, ratings, picks, and gameplay statistics.
• Device information: Push notification tokens (if you opt in), device type, and app version.

We do not collect financial information, location data, or contacts.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Snappy platform.
• To match you with opponents and track your rating progression.
• To send you push notifications about matches (if enabled).
• To communicate important updates about the service.

3. Authentication

We use Auth0, a third-party authentication provider, to manage your login credentials. Your password is never stored on our servers. Auth0's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Auth0: For authentication services.
• Railway: Our hosting provider, which processes requests on our behalf.
• Expo: For push notification delivery (device tokens only).

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we anonymize your personal information (email and display name) within 24 hours. Match history is retained in anonymized form for leaderboard integrity.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Update your display name in the app settings.
• Delete your account at any time from the app settings.
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure token-based authentication, and database access controls.

8. Children's Privacy

Snappy is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
