Head-to-head fantasy sports

Not a pool. Not a league. One opponent. One winner.

Most fantasy sports platforms are built around large groups — season-long leagues with 10+ managers, or DFS contests with thousands of entries. Snappy takes a different approach: pure 1v1 head-to-head matchups.

You draft against one person. You score against one person. One of you wins. That's it.

What makes head-to-head different

In a 1v1 format, every decision matters more. You're not trying to get lucky in a pool of thousands. You're not competing against someone else's autopicked team from August. You're making real-time decisions against a live opponent who's making the same choices you are.

Snappy is head-to-head fantasy sports with ranked matchmaking. You're always playing someone at your skill level — not getting crushed by a shark or coasting against a ghost team.

How it compares

Season-long leagues

Draft once in August. Set lineups weekly. Wait months. Hope your league stays active. Fun if you have the group for it — but it's a commitment.

DFS contests

Enter a pool with thousands of people. Optimize a salary-cap lineup. Compete for a share of the prize pool. It can feel more like gambling than sport.

Snappy (1v1)

Instant matchmaking. Live snake draft. Real-time scoring. No money, no rake, no pool. Just your roster against theirs.

Why 1v1 works

The 1v1 format creates a direct competitive loop that larger formats can't match. You know exactly who you're playing. You see their picks in real time during the draft. You watch their players score alongside yours during the game. There's no ambiguity about why you won or lost.

This is also why Snappy can support ranked matchmaking. In a 1v1 game, every match has a clear winner and loser — which is exactly what an ELO system needs to produce meaningful ratings. Your rank reflects your actual skill over time, not a single lucky lineup.

How Snappy's head-to-head works

Hit Battle, get matched with someone at your ELO rating. Snake draft 3 real players from today's live games — 20 seconds per pick. Once the draft is done, your players score fantasy points based on their real performance. Highest score wins. Your rating goes up or down based on the result.

The whole experience takes a few minutes to draft and then plays out as the real game unfolds. No managing a roster over a season. No sweating a salary cap. Just pick your players and watch.
