What "free" actually means
A lot of apps say "free" but mean "free to download, pay to play." Snappy means free to play. Here's what costs nothing:

Why no money?
Fantasy sports got complicated. DFS turned into a gambling product with entry fees, salary caps, and prize pools. Season-long leagues often involve buy-ins. Somewhere along the way, the actual competition became secondary to the money.
Snappy goes the other direction. The motivation to play is the competition itself — your ELO rating, your division, your win streak. The same thing that makes ranked modes in video games addictive, applied to fantasy sports.
Snappy is not gambling. There are no real money stakes and no payouts. It is a skill-based competitive game — like playing ranked matches in a video game, except your score comes from real sports.
What you get
A free account gets you everything. Ranked 1v1 matchmaking with ELO ratings. Live snake drafts from real games. Real-time scoring that updates with every pitch and every play. Eight divisions from Bronze to Legend. The ability to challenge friends to private matches. All of it, free.
We may introduce optional cosmetic features in the future (avatars, badges, banners), but the core game — matchmaking, drafting, scoring, ranking — will always be free.
